Anna Kristanty currently serves as Senior Vice President of the International & Financial Institution Group at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI). She brings extensive experience in international banking, financial institutions, trade finance, treasury, funding, investor relations, credit and financing, risk management, and strategic transformation within the banking sector. Since joining BSI in 2019, she has held several senior leadership positions and played a key role in corporate transformation and international expansion initiatives. Prior to her current role, she served as SVP of Investor Relations and led international expansion initiatives, including the establishment of BSI’s overseas branch in Dubai. Before joining BSI, she held various senior positions at Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Singapore, including Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Corporate Relationship. She also served at BNI Syariah as Treasury & International Division Head, Deputy Division Head of International Business, and Coordinator Manager of the Trade Processing Center. Throughout her career, Anna has led and contributed to numerous strategic initiatives, including securitization projects, sustainability sukuk initiatives, rights issue projects, and the establishment of Bank Syariah Indonesia’s presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Her professional expertise spans international financial institutions, treasury management, strategic financing, investor relations, and corporate transformation. Anna Kristanty holds a Bachelor’s degree from Universitas Jayabaya and a Master’s degree from Universitas Persada Indonesia YAI. Arief Subekti is a highly accomplished corporate banker with over two decades of distinguished experience in corporate, project, and sharia finance. He currently serves as Executive Vice President – Head of Sharia Business Division at PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), where he is entrusted with leading the company’s sharia financing strategy and delivering landmark transactions that contribute to Indonesia’s infrastructure and economic development. Throughout his career, Arief has held senior leadership positions at prominent financial institutions, including Maybank Indonesia, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, ANZ Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, and Bank BNI. He has successfully originated and executed some of the country’s most notable transactions, including Indonesia’s largest sharia syndication, strategic ECA financings, and milestone M&A deals. Arief holds an MBA with highest distinction from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Brawijaya University. Dr. Bilal Ilhan is a senior economist specializing in foreign direct investment (FDI), macroeconomics, financial markets, policy-making, and Islamic Finance. Since last year, he has been serving as Country Advisor to the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, overseeing operations in Malaysia and Indonesia.

In this role, Dr. Ilhan identifies and presents investment opportunities and conducts high-level economic analysis. He is actively involved in promoting Türkiye’s economic interests in Southeast Asia, working closely with public and private stakeholders to create and implement policies that encourage FDI inflows.

Previously, Dr. Ilhan held various senior positions, including Chief Economist at the same office, where he played a pivotal role in developing national investment strategies and advising macroeconomic policies. His expertise in creating comprehensive reports on economic trends and FDI outlooks has made him a trusted advisor in the public sector and an advocate for sustainable development and economic growth. Fluent in multiple languages and experienced in global economic affairs, Dr. Ilhan continues to foster international collaborations, aiming to position Türkiye as a key player in the global investment landscape.

Boniarga Mangiring is an Investment Specialist at the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF) — a multilateral organization established in 2010 by ASEAN+3 countries and the Asian Development Bank, mandated to develop local bond and sukuk markets across the region. Rated AA by S&P globally and AAA by Pefindo and Fitch in Indonesia, CGIF has to date guaranteed 118 bonds and sukuk for 72 issuers, mobilizing over USD 4.6 billion in capital. Sukuk have become central to CGIF’s strategy for financing sustainable and inclusive development across ASEAN, with recent issuances in Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Mangiring brings over 15 years of professional experience in Indonesian bond markets and has been with CGIF since 2019, focusing on Indonesia as one of its core markets. In his role, he handles deal originations, guarantee issuances, and market development initiatives. He has successfully issued guarantees for IDR bond transactions for Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia, Hartadinata Abadi, Paradise Indonesia, and sukuk transactions for Polytama Propindo and Global Mediacom.

CJ Wong is an Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group, based in Singapore. He covers a portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions across Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Prior to joining Moody’s, CJ was a research analyst in the Dividend Forecasting team at IHS Markit, where he provided dividend estimates for financial institutions and corporates in Australia and Singapore. Darius Nass is an Associate Director for Global Equity Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). He is based out of the Singapore office and is responsible for the product management of S&P DJI’s global index suites, including the S&P Global BMI, S&P Global 1200 and S&P Islamic Indices. In his role, Darius leads efforts to develop new benchmarks, promotes existing offerings and regularly publishes market commentary, analytical reports and research.

Prior to joining S&P DJI, Darius was part of the Nasdaq Index R&D team, where he was led product development initiatives for the APAC region.

Darius holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Singapore Management University.

Dien Sukmarini is Division Head of Islamic Capital Market (ICM) Policy Development in the Indonesia Financial Services Authority. Dien has been involved in ICM development for more than a decade. Dealing with ICM development from a regulator’s perspective has led her to have experience in conducting research, establishing roadmaps, drafting regulations, building institutional relations as well as delivering seminars and workshops.

Dien led the establishment of the Islamic Capital Market Roadmap 2015-2019 and Islamic Finance Development Roadmap 2017-2019. Additionally, Dien was the lead author of several publications related to ICM such as ‘Sukuk Handbook’ and ‘Directory of Indonesia Islamic Finance’. Dien is enthusiastic about new issues in ICM development. Last year, Dien led research on an Islamic-ESG index and corporate green Sukuk. Currently, Dien is responsible for a project dealing with the product development of social ICM and the establishment of guidance for SMEs to get funding from the ICM.

Dimas is the Director of Investments at Sucor Asset Management, bringing extensive experience in financial analysis and strategic investment management. He began his career as a Financial Analyst before taking on key strategic roles at PT Elnusa Tbk, and has been instrumental in the development and growth of Sucor Asset Management’s investment team since joining in 2017.

He holds a Master of Science in Public Policy from the University of Bristol awarded under the LPDP Scholarship, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universitas Indonesia. Dimas is known for his strong analytical capabilities and strategic perspective, enabling him to navigate complex market environments and identify forward-looking investment opportunities.

In 2025, he was recognized as the 2nd Most Astute Investor (IDR) by The Asset Benchmark Research, underscoring his standing as a respected investment professional in the industry. Dimas is a licensed Investment Manager Representative, certified by the Financial Services Authority.

Eko Adi Irianto, SE, M. Com currently serves as Deputy Director at the Department of Islamic Economy and Finance, Bank Indonesia. He previously held leadership roles within Bank Indonesia’s regional offices, including Head of the North Maluku Regional Office and Deputy Head of the North Sulawesi Regional Office.

He brings over two decades of experience in Islamic finance and banking supervision. His professional background includes roles as Senior Analyst at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Analyst at the Department of Islamic Banking, Bank Indonesia, and Assistant Project Manager at the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) in Malaysia.

Eko has been actively involved in both international and domestic initiatives. He represented Bank Indonesia in the IFSB’s PSIFIs Taskforce and contributed to the sub-committee on Guidance Notes on Alpha for Islamic banks’ capital adequacy standards. At the regional level, he has also served as Deputy Chairman of the North Maluku Regional Inflation Control Team and as a member of the North Sulawesi Bankers Community.

He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, and a Master of Banking and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
With a strong academic foundation and extensive experience across national and international platforms, Eko is widely recognised for his contributions to advancing Islamic finance and strengthening the resilience of Indonesia’s financial system.

Indra Gunawan is an Associate Professor and senior scholar-practitioner operating at the intersection of academia, public policy and financial management innovation. He holds a Doctorate in Management and Business from IPB University, dual Master’s degrees in Law and Economics (LLM/MSc) from Utrecht University and a Master of Computer Science in AI, complemented by undergraduate degrees in Economics and International Relations. His academic journey has been supported by prestigious scholarships including DELTA, DIKTI and PT PLN. Indra has completed executive and leadership programs at Goldman Sachs Investment University, Said Business School (University of Oxford), Cambridge Judge Business School, Utrecht University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Indonesia’s national leadership program at LEMHANNAS RI. His interdisciplinary expertise across law, economics, finance and technology informs his research and teaching in financial management with specialization in investment management, insurance, pension funds, mutual funds and sustainable digital-impact economics. He is currently based at the Faculty of Economics and Business in the Indonesian International Islamic University, where he advances scholarships in sustainable Islamic finance while supervising postgraduate research and examining doctoral candidates across leading Indonesian universities. Concurrently, he serves as Chief Investment Officer and Member of the Executive Board (2022-2027) of Badan Pengelola Keuangan Haji or the Hajj Financial Management Agency, where he plays a central role in national investment strategy, governance and the development of Indonesia’s Islamic capital markets. Indra’s leadership has been recognized through numerous honours including ESG Warrior 2025, the Green Investment Initiative Award 2024 and the Non-Banking Top Chief Investment Officer Award (Top Brand 2024). His certifications, awards and publications reflect a sustained commitment to bridging theory, policy and practice in sustainable and Shariah compliant finance.

Irwan Abdalloh has been with the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2000 and has specialized in the development of the Islamic capital market since 2010. He currently serves as Head of the Islamic Capital Market Division at the Indonesia Stock Exchange and is a member of the Fatwa Division of the National Sharia Board of the Indonesian Ulama Council (DSN-MUI).

He also holds leadership roles in key industry organizations, including serving on the central board of the Islamic Economy Society (MES) and the Islamic Economics Expert Association (IAEI), and is an active member of the Sharia Stock Selection Committee.
Abdalloh is widely recognized as a key innovator in Indonesia’s Islamic capital market. He is the originator of several landmark initiatives, including the Shariah Capital Market School—an integrated training program on Islamic stock investment; the Indonesia Shariah Stock Index (ISSI), a composite index of shariah-compliant equities; the Shariah Online Trading System (SOTS), the world’s first shariah-compliant online trading platform for retail investors; as well as initiatives related to tradable sharia stock-based zakat and waqf.

He was the first Indonesian recipient of the Cambridge Islamic Finance Leadership Award (2017) from Cambridge Islamic Finance Leadership Programme, headquartered in London, UK. In addition to his professional roles, he is an active speaker on Indonesia’s Islamic capital market and a postgraduate lecturer at several universities. He is also a regular contributor to Islamic Finance News as Indonesia Country Correspondent since 2018, and the author of three books on the Islamic capital market written in Indonesian.

Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad is the Vice Director, Corporate Secretary at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, bringing over a decade of experience in Indonesia’s capital market. He began his career at Bank Indonesia in 2010 as a Research Assistant and joined the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011 as a Research Analyst in the Research and Development Division. Over the years, he has held several strategic roles, including Head of the Statistical Publication Unit and Head of the Product Development Unit, before assuming his current position in 2023.

Kautsar holds a Master of Management in Capital Market and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from Universitas Indonesia. He is also a Certified Risk Professional (CRP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), reflecting his expertise in financial risk management, product development, and corporate communications within the capital market.

Mochamad Imron currently serves as Senior Analyst in the Directorate of Banking, Financial Market and Other Financing Development under the Directorate General of Stability and Financial Sector Development. He is responsible for supporting policy development and analysis within the financial sector.

He previously served as Senior Analyst in Sharia Finance at the Centre for Financial Sector Policy, Fiscal Policy Agency, and earlier as Head of Sub-Division for Sharia Capital Market and Commodity Market Policy as well as Islamic Social Finance . He also spent six years in the Center for International Cooperation, where he worked with international institutions including IFAD, CFC, ADB, and IDB, and supported the Ministry of Finance in various international engagements.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Indonesian Customs, focusing on commodity classification and contributing to the drafting of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System and ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature.

He holds a degree from the State College of Accountancy (Ministry of Finance) and a Master’s degree from Waseda University, Japan, specializing in Applied Economics of Information Technology. He is a recipient of the Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship and has been awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya for 10, 20, and 30 years of public service.

Dr Mohamad Zabidi Ahmad has worked in the banking industry for 38 years. He previously served as the Senior Managing Director and Regional Head of Islamic Treasury, Treasury and Markets in Group Wholesale Banking for CIMB Group. During that time, he was responsible for the development of CIMB Group’s regional Islamic treasury franchises, managing over RM100 billion (US$23.88 billion) of Islamic assets for CIMB Group Islamic Banking. His country-focused treasury remits included Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand and for five years, he was based in London as a Chief Dealer. His innovations included the introduction of CIMB’s Islamic repo contract.

Dr Mohamad Zabidi has held various additional executive management positions within the CIMB Group, including the Chairman of the Investment Account Oversight Committee and a Member of the Group Islamic Management Committee, the Treasury and Market Committee and the Group Islamic Wholesale Banking Committee. He has been widely recognized for his leadership, with CIMB announced as ‘Best Islamic Bank for Treasury Management’ at the IFN Awards in 2019. Dr Mohamad Zabidi served as Proactive Chairman of AIBIM Treasury & Markets, leading the CMTC Sukuk Index Task Force in the successful launch of the Sovereign & Corporate Bloomberg-AIBIM-Bursa Sukuk Index in September 2012. In 2018, under his leadership, AIBIM also published the practice notes for Qard Hasan and commodity Murabahah for adoption by AIBIM members. The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) is a multilateral development financial institution and is part of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group.

The ICD was established in November 1999 to support the economic development of its member countries through the provision of finance for private sector projects, promoting competition and entrepreneurship, providing advisory services to governments and private companies and encouraging cross-border investments.

The ICD has an authorized capital of US$4 billion. Currently, the shareholders of the ICD are the IDB (50%), 53 Islamic countries (30%) and five public financial institutions (20%).

ICD mandate and objectives

The ICD fosters sustainable economic growth in its 53 member countries by:

  • Financing private sector investment
  • Mobilizing capital in the international financial markets, and
  • Providing advisory services to business and governments.

The ICD selects the financing projects based on their contribution to economic development considering factors such as job creation, Islamic finance development, contribution to exports, etc. The ICD also provides advisory services to governments and private sector groups on policies designed to encourage the establishment, expansion and modernization of private enterprises, the development of capital markets, best management practices and to enhance the role of the market economy. The ICD operates to complement the activities of the IDB in member countries.

The ICD is rated ‘AA/FQ’ by Fitch Ratings, ‘Aa3/P-1’ by Moody’s Investors Service and ‘A+’ by Standard & Poor’s.

Established 26 years ago in 1994 as a multilateral institution and a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group, the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) was tasked to promote cross-border trade and foreign direct investments in its member countries.

The ICIEC’s mission is to make trade and investment between member countries and the world more secure through the Shariah compliant risk mitigation tool. Its vision is to be recognized as the preferred enabler of trade and investment for sustainable economic development in member countries.

The ICIEC is the only multilateral export credit and investment insurance corporation in the world that provides Shariah-compliant insurance and reinsurance solutions.

Today, the ICIEC supports trade and investment flows in 47 member countries spanning across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Its target clients are corporates (both exporters and investors), banks and financial institutions as well as export credit agencies and insurers.

The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) is a member of the IDB Group. It was established with the purpose of advancing trade among OIC member countries, which would ultimately contribute to the overarching goal of improving the socioeconomic conditions of the people across the world. The ITFC commenced operations in January 2008 and has since consolidated all trade finance businesses that used to be handled by various windows within the IDB Group. The EUR160 million commodity Murabahah facility for Agrobank, backed by The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) and Standard Chartered, is a transformative milestone for Uzbekistan’s financial landscape. As the country’s first-ever commodity Murabahah transaction, it successfully navigated a complex regulatory vacuum, establishing a Shariah compliant blueprint for future trade liquidity.

The deal represents a “triple-first”: The inaugural use of this instrument in Uzbekistan, ICIEC’s first direct commercial banking partnership in the nation and a massive capital injection specifically for the underserved SMEs and retail sectors.
