“ I had the distinct honor of speaking at the IFN UK Forum 2024. My session provided a platform to delve into the significant milestones achieved within UK Islamic finance. We engaged in candid discussions about the existing gaps and explored innovative solutions to address these challenges. One of the key highlights was the focus on accelerating capital flows to start-ups and early stage businesses within the Shariah compliant sector. The impact of new and evolving technologies, regulations and challenges in the industry was also thoroughly examined.
These discussions are crucial for the continuous growth and sustainability of Islamic financial services in the UK. The event was incredibly valuable, offering deep insights and fostering meaningful connections among participants. It underscored the importance of continuous innovation and proactive strategies in ensuring that Islamic finance remains fit for purpose in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
I found the forum to be an enriching experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a pivotal conversation.
