Congratulations to you and your team on an excellent event. I thought it was extremely well organized. The format was different to most I have attended with a Chairman and panel which worked really well. We were able to hear the views of a much larger number of speakers than is usually the case. If there is any comment it is that not enough time was devoted to Takaful rather than banking. I enjoyed my part, the question set me by our Chairman En Azmi Abu Bakar was a really interesting one and I would have liked more time in fact if anything the sessions could have been longer but I do accept that this is difficult to do on a common basis.

Many would agree with me that the Malaysian Islamic Finance Issuers and Investors Forum 2006 was a huge success. For one, bringing hundreds of delegates together to stay glued and paying attention for two whole days speak well for the organizer as well as the agenda being promoted by the regulators and Malaysian Islamic Finance. The format used clearly allowed candid observations by local and global players about Malaysia 's position in Islamic finance. From these observations, I can only conclude that Malaysia 's position is well established. You have my full support towards the next Forum! A job well done.
